SMALL TOWNS

Small towns are small towns the world over,
from Temuka to Le Quesnoy.
Home is home too - the squalid placenta

They remain sleeping in the back
of our heads, waiting for the Goths, or
they are the Goths. For all I know,

I am the anticipated barbarian they are waiting for.
